The Debevoise Memorial honors the memory of the legendary South Portland High School
Tennis Coach, named National Interscholastic Coach of the Year in 1976. Pete Debevoise was
the prime mover behind the advent of junior tennis in Maine and a generous benefactor
for many of Maine’s young players.
